Whew! Feels like a long time since I blogged. Despite the staggering heat, we are staying quite busy these days.
You may remember a post from way back when I mentioned a daydream of mine. I know, I have lots of those. But this one, in particular, had been reoccurring for quite some time. I shared my daydream with a friend, and from there a community was conceived. Since November, we have been diligently working on creating a children's community. An oh-so-sweet and lovely home away from home. A place where two women can raise their own wee ones, fulfill their passions, and invite other children along to share in their daily joys and discoveries.
I've never experienced a full blown pregnancy, but nurturing the development of our community seems like a pretty close experience. Task by task, month by month, our dream has become more real and more inevitable. This community will be. We are indeed waddling through our third trimester and are so eager to begin this next, new exciting chapter. I simply cannot wait to share more! But until then...
A photo of a disorganized mess will have to do. If you look hard, you can see the joy and sweetness of it all.
On the babe front, Beatrix is 16 weeks old! Wow - humans develop so quickly. It's been a stunning experience, to say the least. She's awesome. We are blessed. Life could not be sweeter. This week she found her feet and oh is she smitten - as is her mama and papa.
One thing I work hard at to remember - just because my adult life gets busy, doesn't mean this little one is pressing the pause button. She's constantly growing and changing so very fast. She's finding her toes and gaining back strength and getting more and more proficient at holding objects...I'm so happy that at this point in her life, I can find somewhat of a balance between mothering and working.
Notice the focus and intense interest displayed in her eyes!
Need I say more.
Oh my!
What a sweet yogi!
