Even here, in Texas, the days, the light, and the lanscape have been a bit dreamy to live through this season. Right now, wildflowers are blooming like crazy. Tall, magestic gay feather in rockier areas, whispy golden grasses in areas where the soil is black clay. There's a constant breeze which sends these grasses dancing in unison. It's mesmerizing to witness.
I can't help but hum to myself...oh beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain...
Sometimes, I love the landscape of central Texas. It's nothing like anywhere else and nothing in comparison. But when I stop comparing, and accept it as it is, for what it is, it's so perfect.
