And just like that - another summer rolls on. This one will not be easily forgotten. Cooler temperatures (below 100) are forecasted just in time for the Labor Day weekend. Our bedtime ritual once again includes a candle. The gradual shortening of days that has been occurring since late June are beginning to make themselves noticeable.
My little one and I have returned for another school year at The Natural Child. She "wuvs" school, and the "chiljren" and wants more and more of it. That makes my heart sing. We are, indeed, back home so to speak. All together again. Yes. It feels good.
I'm so glad she is settling in again! Is the bag on her shoulders an owl bag? Little L has the same design owl lunch bag for her pre-school days.

Yes it is! :) Ha Ha! She didn't really need another bag, but when I saw it, I just couldn't resist. She stores her lunch in it.

He he!! Today she was walking ahead of me with her little back pack on. I didn't have my camera handy, but it was a picture of sweetness worth remembering for sure...

I think I'll need a sweater once the thermometer dips below 95....

:) My girl loves her lunch bag too, and so do her pre-school teachers, I always get comments about it! I'm sure you've seen, the same brand do a bee design in big bag and lunch bag which I loved too. I can't get it for my 6 year old though, as she eats so much for her lunch the food would not fit into the smaller bee lunch bag!
