Amanda posted a daybook entry last week which inspired mine today.
Outside my window...I see my hens scratching and pecking in their run.
I am thinking...that I'd like more of this dreary, cool weather before spring officially arrives.
I am thankful...for the sweet and joyful moments that made up the weekend.
In the kitchen...there is chocolate chip oatmeal cookie dough defrosting...
I am wearing...a brown and black plaid flannel shirt, jeans, and rag wool socks.
I am creating...two new baby care packages for my brother and my sister in law and a very good friend - both are welcoming new little ones very soon.
I am going...to our first homestudy visit for adoption number 2 soon.
I am wondering...about too many unknowns.
I am reading...The Feast Nearby.
I am hoping...for a night of snuggling with Byron on the couch underneath a warm, wool blanket.
I am looking forward to...exciting new opportunities in the upcoming year.
I am learning...how to squeeze long, walks into our daily routine.
Around the house...the daffodils I splurged on over the weekend are causing me to smile and feel very ridiculously happy.
I am pondering...thoughts of a homeschool hybrid schoolhouse.
One of my favorite things...two thrifted milk glass flower vases that Byron gifted to me. Yes, they are holding the daffodils.
A few plans for the rest of the week: make Valentines with Beatrix, and plant a set of onions into the garden.
A peek into my day...
